Daisy's Pet Shop was created with great passion!

Sky Carpenter, the inspiration behind it all, has had a great passion for animals since she was a young child.  Not only has she ALWAYS had a pet of her own but she has fostered dogs, taken in strays; raised and bred rabbits, chickens and snakes; rehabilitated wildlife, worked at kennels and zoos, volunteered at shelters, started and successfully maintained thriving saltwater aquariums and fresh water outdoor ponds and too much more to list.  She groomed (out of her family's home) since the age of 12 (their dogs, neighbors dogs and strays) and has continued to groom ever since. Her very first job, as an employee, was at a pet store, in Holly, Michigan, at the age of 15. 

She has fed her dogs a raw diet for the past 10 years and they are walking testimonies of the health benefits it has.  A couple of years ago Sky began to create some of her own treats, for her dogs, out of her kitchen and has found that her dogs love them. Sky has too much to offer to keep it all to herself and her pets and her passion has overflowed into this business. 

Not only can we all learn a lot from Sky's knowledge and experience but our pets can benefit greatly as well.  It is because of all of this that she has chosen to name the business after her own dog "Daisy".
